MAYA is hull #40 of this popular John Alden design of which a reported 60 were built between 1968 and 1976. She's an attractive, traditional, full keel design with a replacement Yanmar diesel and two-year-old standing rigging and roller-furler.  Her sails are relatively recent.  She is a shoal draft model with centerboard,  Her draft, board up, is only 4'. MAYA could use some updating, but she appears to be sound and in good structural condition. She's stored on land for the winter and covered but can be boarded.
