The Cape Dory 33, designed by Carl Alberg, was a successful design with reportedly 124 built, from 1980 through 1985. SILHOUETTE is Hull #24. Her current owners purchased her in 1998 and have given her excellent care. She has a newer Universal diesel and even newer transmission, newer standing rigging, newer sails, newer interior cushions, and her bottom was soda blasted and barrier coated. Sleeps six. V berth forward with filler cushion, enclosed head next aft to port with electric-flush toilet, vanity, and shower, double hanging lockers opposite to starboard. Main cabin features settees port and starboard with a centerline, fixed, teak, dining table with two leaves. Port settee extends to form a double berth. U-shaped galley next aft to port, quarterberth and forward-facing sit-down navigation station opposite to starboard. New custom cabin cushions new in 2010. Teak and holly cabin sole, curtains.
Galley features Gas Systems three-burner, stainless steel, CNG stove with oven (with two CNG tanks), double stainless steel sinks, hot and cold pressurized water, and ice box.
12 volt DC and 110 volt AC dockside systems, each with breaker panels. House batteries: two Group 31 AGM 12 volt marine batteries (total 200 AH), new 4/2019. Starting battery: one 12 volt lead acid battery. Battery selector switch. Xantrex HF 1800 inverter/charger. Xantrex Link Lite battery monitor. Two 100 watt solar panels, Shore power cord.

Full keel with attached rudder and cutaway forefoot. Bow anchor roller, Maxwell electric windlass (2016) with cockpit and wireless remote control, both up and down functions. Double lifelines (2014) with boarding gates both port and starboard, two dorade vents, two overhead hatches, 10 bronze framed Spartan opening ports. Edson pedestal wheel steering. Transom-mounted swim ladder. Salt water washdown pump (2021). Bottom soda blasted and barrier coated in 2013
Sloop rigged. Keel-stepped mast. Quantum Thurston mainsail (2002) with two sets of reef points, and 135% roller-furling genoa (2021), riding sail (unused) 2012. Harken roller-furling (2014). Lazyjacks for mainsail. Winch inventory includes two Lewmar #40 two-speed genoa sheet primaries, two Lewmar #7 halyard winches mounted on mast, and a Lewmar #6 reefing winch mounted on boom. Standing rigging all replaced in 2014.
