1988 Caliber 33

Hingham, Massachusetts

$39,500

CRICKET II was purchased brand-new in 1989 by her current owners.  They have sailed and cruised her in New England waters, giving her good and loving care, with thoughtful updating over the years. They have decided to retire from boat ownership, creating the opportunity for some lucky sailor to acquire an attractive, well-built, fine sailing vessel.

CRICKET II was built by the Caliber Yacht Corporation in Clearwater, FL.  Caliber was founded by two brothers, Michael and George McCreary whose aim was to construct wholesome, well-built, and attractive cruising boats.  They quickly established a reputation for building quality boats and for treating their customers well.  They are still in touch with many of their old customers from the 1980's.

The Caliber 33 has a reputation of being a well-built boat with excellent sailing performance and a spacious and attractive interior.  Storage space is exceptional, and interior space feels equal to that of larger vessels. Shoal draft allows venturing into waters normally restricted to boats this size.

CRICKET II has newer sails, canvas, and interior cushions.  Hull has just been waxed and bottom painted.  She was launched on 5/11/2023 and is easily seen in a slip in Hingham, MA.
